Storyline

Filled with heart, humor, and wit, WAR ROOM follows Tony and Elizabeth Jordan, a couple who seemingly have it all-great jobs, a beautiful daughter, their dream home. But appearances can be deceiving. In reality, their marriage has become a war zone and their daughter is collateral damage. With guidance from Miss Clara, an older, wiser woman, Elizabeth discovers she can start fighting for her family instead of against them. As the power of prayer and Elizabeth's newly energized faith transform her life, will Tony join the fight and become the man he knows he needs to be? Together, their real enemy doesn't have a prayer.

Another great film by the Kendrick brothers! Some are saying that this is not a film you can take your unsaved friends to see. This may be true as this is a film about prayer and therefore has that agenda in the story line. However, there are plenty of other great Christian films (even some by the Kendricks) that you can show to your unsaved friends. This film is a wakeup call to Christians to get back on their knees and start petitioning the Lord to do a great work in their families, marriages, lives and our country. After seeing this film our entire family was convicted that we need to pray more and how prayer is a powerful tool that is, sadly, underused! The acting was solid in the movie and had the usual comic relief mixed in that we have come to expect from the Kendricks. It seems their films get better with each one! I truly believe that God has raised them up, "For such a time as this!." Go see this movie and be renewed in your faith and convicted that what is needed to bring this country, and all the people in it, back to the Lord! Start a War Room revival!
